Russian classical ballet training came Salt Lake City, Utah from July 30 to August 9, 2018! The 5th Annual International Youth Ballet Festival brought together outstanding teachers, specializing in Russian ballet traditions including classical ballet and character dance training. This 10-day Festival benefitted young ballet dancers ages 12 to 26 who desire to become professional ballet artists and search to develop their knowledge and education in the art of ballet, while experiencing the Russian ballet culture. A gala concert, which allowed Festival participants to perform what they have learned, was held on August 9.
The International Youth Ballet Festival was founded in 2013 in St. Petersburg, Russia by Oleg Vinogradov and has been held four times on two continents. We are honored to have been chosen to host it here in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2018 and hope to host this festival in the future.
